A survey conducted by SEBI-NCAER, shows the sheer dominance of Indian corporates in mutual funds. According to SEBI’s annual report 2004-2005, individuals as a category accounted for 97.42% of total investor’s accounts, while the figure for corporates was at 2.04%. However this meager 2.04% accounted for whopping Rs.454.69 billion worth of assets or 57.12% of total net asset value, while investors had 47.02%....
