With very less to differentiate service offerings, price wars rule (IIPM NEWS)

With Indian telecom companies going all out to woo mobile phone users with never before talk time and payment plans, these companies are at marketing cross swords. Who could have imagined that from the days of the Rs.16 per call in the year 1996-97, mobile tariffs would nose dive to as low as ninety nine paise per call made; of course, with incoming calls also free (now quoted with the jargon, ‘Calling Party Pays’), which was not the case earlier…..
